Trung tuần tháng 6/2018, tạp chí Forbes đã đăng tải loạt ảnh được cho là bản vẽ thiết kế của thế hệ iPhone tương lai, nhưng chưa rõ là năm 2018 hay 2019. Theo đó, những bản vẽ phác thảo này được cho là có nguồn gốc từ Ghostek, nhà sản xuất phụ kiện từng có lịch sử cung cấp những hình ảnh rò rỉ chính xác của chiếc Galaxy S9 trước khi ra mắt vài tháng.

Dựa trên những thông tin rò rỉ kể trên, trang LetsGoDigital dựng một bản concept chi tiết, có độ chân thực cao về hình ảnh của chiếc iPhone X Plus với cụm camera ba ống kính.

Dựa theo nhiều nguồn tin, chiếc iPhone X Plus trong bản dựng này cũng sở hữu thiết kế tràn viền cùng cụm camera TrueDepth với camera selfie kép. Đây cũng là chiếc iPhone sở hữu màn hình lớn nhất trong lịch sử của Apple với tấm nền OLED kích thước 6,5 inch.

Ở mặt lưng, iPhone X Plus concept có thiết kế 3 camera tương tự như Huawei P20 Pro. Hệ thống 3 camera này được xếp dọc đặt trong cùng 1 module, trong khi đèn flash LED đặt ở bên dưới cùng.

Cụ thể, hệ thống 3 camera bao gồm 1camera chính có độ phân giải 12MP, 1 ống kính telephoto 12MP và 1 camera thứ ba có thể dùng để chụp ảnh đơn sắc hoặc hỗ trợ chụp ảnh góc rộng. Đặc biệt, ống kính thứ 3 này sẽ có độ dài tiêu cự lớn hơn, nhằm cải thiện khả năng zoom ảnh của camera và có thể hỗ trợ zoom quang học lên tới 3 hoặc 5x.

Cũng theo báo cáo từ chuyên gia công nghệ Alex Webb của Bloomberg, chiếc iPhone tương lai này sẽ được trang bị hệ thống camera sau có cảm biến 3D tương tư như cụm camera TrueDepth ở mặt trước của iPhone X.

Theo nhiều nguồn tin đáng giá cũng như những nhận định của các chuyên gia hàng đầu trước đó, Apple sẽ ra mắt ba mẫu smartphone mới trong năm nay, bao gồm: một mẫu iPhone có kích thước lớn nhất từ trước đến nay, một phiên bản nâng cấp của iPhone X và một mẫu iPhone giá rẻ nhưng sở hữu nhiều tính năng cao cấp.

Bên cạnh đó, một nguồn tin rò rỉ từ Slashgear cho rằng, 1 trong 3 chiếc iPhone mới được ra mắt năm nay hoặc năm 2019 sẽ có thể trang bị hệ thống 3 camera đặt trong cùng một mô-đun và đèn flash ở phía dưới tương tự chiếc smartphone của hãng điện thoại Trung Quốc, Huawei P20 Pro.

Ở thời điểm hiện tại, chúng ta vẫn chưa thể khẳng định rằng liệu Apple có ý định mang hệ thống 3 camera lên thế hệ iPhone 2018 hay không. Tuy nhiên, ý tưởng về một chiếc iPhone với thiết kế 3 camera chính đang ngày càng được nhiều tín đồ công nghệ trên thế giới trông đợi hàng giờ. Nếu phiên bản iPhone X Plus concept này trở thành sự thật, chắc chắn đây sẽ là một trong những đối thủ nặng ký nhất trên thị trường smartphone cao cấp.
